Talat Bhat is a Swedish Kashmiri activist, journalist, and documentary filmmaker with a Master’s degree in Media Production. 

His filmmaking often draws directly from his personal experiences and activism, notably his fight for migrant workers’ rights in Sweden, which is chronicled in his documentary project, Rocking the Boat. His other film credits include co-producing Victory Train and producing/editing Bring Him Back, a film centered on Maqbool Bhat. 

He also leads the Jammu Kashmir TV/JKTV Live WebTV project, furthering his commitment to media and social issues.
